The Science: Propolis Day Cream
Fluctuating hormone levels can lead to increased sebum production resulting in oily and inflamed skin. This excess oil clogs pores, causes blemishes and in some cases, severe acne.
Propolis is rich in minerals, trace elements (like zinc), vitamins (especially B-vitamins and biotin) working to balance the skin flora. Propolis restores clarity to the skin while reducing inflammation and combating bacterial and acne-like skin conditions. Using an oil-based moisturiser ensures long-term hydration. This hydration will normalise the production of sebum.
When used in conjunction with a targeted skincare routine, Propolis Day Cream balances and clarifies the complexion. Best for oily or combination skin, Propolis Day Cream can be used in times or hormonal imbalance or stress to minimise breakouts.
The Ingredients: Propolis Day Cream
The formulation of Propolis Day Cream is easy and comfortable to apply like a water-based cream, with all the advantages of longer-lasting hydration and superior delivery of active ingredients of an oil-based cream.
The unique formulation of our Propolis Day Cream results in:

Propolis is an antibacterial bee resin rich in minerals, vitamins, plant resins, plant waxes, enzymes and essential oils. Working to clarify and treat skin conditions, propolis supports the skin’s natural healing process.
Royal Jelly is an antibacterial bee secretion rich in biomimetic water, protein, fatty acids, vitamins B5, B6 and C along with trace minerals and enzymes. Functioning to rebalance and protect the moisture levels of the skin.
Aloe Vera is an intensive moisturiser and antioxidant-rich in flavonoids, polyphenols, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 and zinc. Working to fortify the skin’s acid mantle, aloe vera protects against environmental stressors while boosting cellular regeneration.
Avocado, Grapeseed and Sunflower oils are protective botanical oils rich in biomimetic triglycerides, fatty acids, lecithin, wax esters, squalene and vitamins D, E & K. This powerful combination protects and hydrates the skin.
Lanolin is a non-irritating sunscreen that protects against UVB.
Retinyl Palmitate is a derivative of vitamin A that helps to renew the appearance of the skin. An effective antioxidant that boosts the activity of vitamins C and E.
Vitamin E is a skin-identical potent antioxidant, naturally secreted by the sebaceous gland for environmental moisture protection.
Lactic Acid supports the biomimetic natural moisturising factor to bind moisture for increased hydration.
Octyl Methoxycinnamate is a non-irritating sunscreen that protects against UVB rays.
The Application: Propolis Day Cream
For home use, Propolis Day Cream should be used in the morning after cleansing, toning and correcting with targeted Dr. Spiller products. Apply a pearl-sized amount evenly to the face and neck areas.
As an in-house treatment, Propolis Day Cream should be used as a finishing treatment to clear impurities and hydrate the skin.

For heavily congested skin with multiple breakouts, we suggest performing a Clear Me Up Facial.
- Cleanse with Cleansing Milk with Cucumber Extracts
- Exfoliate with Jojoba Peeling Cream
- Tone using Cucumber Toner
- Massage with Vitamin Skin Function Oil
- Mask using Terra California Clay Mask
- Tone again using Cucumber Toner
- Moisturise with Propolis Day Cream
- Apply Eye Contour Cream and BB Cream to complete the treatment.
